requirement
Tubata’s founder, Mr Neeraj Aggarwal, and AVP, Mr Ajjay Rana, envisioned creating a distinctive
luxury hospitality venue that would stand out in North Delhi's educated, niche market. The concept
was rooted in bringing together elements of land, air, and sea—creating an immersive experience
with nature at its core.
The venue features intricate design elements, including garden aesthetics, animal and bird
sculptures, butterfly imagery, and water-themed series.
The technical requirements included implementing audio solutions that would enhance the
ambiance without overwhelming conversation. Incorporating visual technology was another
requirement, specifically projector mapping, that would complement and blend in the venue's
natural theme and come alive at night.
The
challenge
Location Perception: North Delhi is not typically viewed as a party destination. The owners needed to create a space that would draw visitors despite location perceptions.
Audio Complexity: The venue needed to serve dual purposes—a place for memorable daytime dining experiences, transitioning to a bar atmosphere later at night. The goal was refined, balanced sound, not club-level loudness. Speaker placement near seating areas made acoustic precision critical.
Future Adaptability: The system needed to be designed with future entertainment possibilities in mind. It had to be compatible with potential live shows and various performance formats while maintaining the venue's core identity as a sophisticated gathering place.
The
Solution
A hybrid solution combining Tannoy and CODA speakers and subwoofers was chosen for its clarity, warmth, and control—perfectly aligned to meet the venue's unique requirements. Mayank Gaurav, Director of Install Sales, and his team from Alphatec, played a significant role in guiding the audio solution, moving beyond simply recommending products to delivering a complete brand experience.
Precision Audio Tuning: Mr Ajjay Rana appreciates the efforts of Sandeep Duggal from VMSDelhi, who conducted 3-4 detailed tuning sessions, which proved crucial to the project's success. The tuning process carefully optimized both indoor and outdoor zones, ensuring optimal system performance, matching the owners' expectations.
The
Impact
The owners expressed exceptional satisfaction with the audio outcome. The system delivered exactly what they envisioned—audio that amplifies the property's unique identity without overpowering the experience. The visual elements, particularly the projector mapping, came out very well.The audio quality became a talking point, with a capacity of 400-500 visitors who consistently compared the sound favorably against other premium venues. The way the system was tuned became a defining factor in the venue's audio success.
