requirement
Charlee is a newly launched vegetarian-only bar and restaurant in Santacruz, Mumbai. The venue's interior, a mesmerising blend of dark, industrial elegance and minimalist modernity, required a sound system that would complement its sophisticated yet warm ambiance. The system needed to provide immersive sound distribution, optimise sound quality, and minimise unwanted echoes and reverberations in the uniquely designed space.

challenge
The challenge was to design and implement a robust audio arrangement capable of delivering high-quality trance music for parties while maintaining the venue's intimate atmosphere.
The
Solution
The project brought together multiple teams, including AV consultants, system integrators, and Alphatec as the primary equipment supplier. A comprehensive evaluation of the venue's acoustics and layout was conducted. This thorough assessment allowed for the development of a customised solution that would address Charlee's specific needs. A combination of high-end audio equipment to ensure optimal performance was carefully selected.
The tailored solution included four Tannoy TOPS Series speakers for precise high-frequency reproduction, complemented by Tannoy VX Series for balanced midrange and low-frequency response. A CODA subwoofer was also incorporated to provide deep, impactful bass without overwhelming the space. This carefully curated combination of equipment was designed to create a cohesive and immersive sound experience throughout the venue.
Close attention was paid to the placement of each speaker and subwoofer, ensuring even sound distribution and minimising potential acoustic issues.
The
IMPACT
Following the installation, comprehensive tests were conducted to verify that the audio system
exceeded the client's expectations. The team performed fine-tuning and calibration to achieve a
perfect soundscape throughout the venue, ensuring that the system could handle the nuances and
rhythms of trance music with exceptional clarity and detail.
Charlee's management expressed high satisfaction with the collaborative effort of all teams involved and technical support. The venue now boasts a premium and state-of-the-art sound system that enhances the overall customer experience and sets it apart from competitors in the area.
