requirement
Any atmosphere can transform into a distinct ambiance with the right audio. Recently, the newly launched Koca Club, which is the buzzing new hotspot in Gurgaon, was curated with the right elements. This culinary venture of the famous cricketer, Yuvraj Singh, needed a high-performance audio solution that blends in with the venue’s elegant yet high-energy experience. It had the synergies of teams coming together, involving Alphatec - the primary equipment provider, and VMS Delhi, as the system integrator, to offer a befitting audio solution.
The
challenge
However, no installed sound audio solution comes like a breeze. It has its own set of challenges to be navigated. In the case of this fine dining restaurant, it had a low ceiling height. Low ceiling height is one of the architectural constraints that causes audio issues. Additionally, the aesthetics had to be maintained. The suggested raditional bulky black speakers from local brands could disrupt the club's chic, contemporary interiors. Hence, a balanced audio solution had to be planned out.
The
Solution
A tailored audio solution that is not just functional but also elevates the aesthetics is always preferred. Both teams, drawing from their deep industry experience, suggested a bespoke audio solution. It separated the entire solution into indoor and outdoor. Leading brands with their range of products, ranging from surface-mount loudspeakers to other portable speakers for installed sound, were selected. For the indoors, CODA Audio’s HOPS Series was used, amplified by CODA amplifiers. The club experiences stunning performance by Tannoy’s VX Series speakers and subwoofer amplified by world- class amplifiers from Labgruppen. In its entirety, the audio solution maintained the aesthetics of the place while providing powerful sound for the guests. To aid the entertainment, Pioneer DJ’s console has further uplifted the mood of the 6-star restaurant.

IMPACT
The result? A sonic environment as inviting as the food and cocktails Koca Club is known for. The guests enjoyed the atmosphere levelled up by the immersive audio. The key differentiator was the powerful sound with the compact speakers from CODA Audio blending in the space without intruding on their conversations.
